Did this ever get resolved? I’m having the same exact issue and it’s a problem because I’m using a seperate player and disabling the podpress player, so in the podcast app in the episode description it’s showing my link code and I want to override it with the iTunes:summary tag.
what’s up with the podcast app ignoring it completely?
