    Hi again,

I had to revert back to version 4.1.7.0, since we’re running a national theatre website and the new 4.1.8.0 release introduced too many issues in production.

    For context:

    • 4.1.7.0 already broke several things (some you’re aware of, some maybe not). One example you can easily verify is that the search bar on smartphones is completely broken — you can see it live here on this other website running EventPrime: https://mn-act.net/ep-events-calendar/.
    • 4.1.8.0 fixed one problem but made many others worse — including the week now starting on Sunday and loss of translations for core UI strings such as Today, Month, Week, Day, Agenda.

At this point it’s really difficult to keep the plugin stable across updates. Please confirm when you expect to push a build that restores the previous functionality (correct week start, proper locale handling, and working mobile search).

@epsupport Why is the week starting with Sunday after the update? And some language strings like Today, Month, Week, Day, Agenda… cannot be translated after the update?

I can confirm that this is happening after updating to version 2.10.40.

Hi @rogierlankhorst Thank you for the update.

I can confirm that your latest adjustment resolved the issue. Now, the Pages section of the Statistics page is displayed properly and there is no error. See printscreen: https://postimg.cc/dkVTdVRM

Thank you for your time and effort. Cheers!

I am experiencing the same issue, the dashboard isn’t loading. I cleared the website cache, as well as the browser cache, nothing helps. This issue came up with the latest update. This is what I get while inspecting in the console:

@cookieyesteam, I got the translations approved, but it didn’t fix the problem. Those static texts like show more/less in the revamped version of the plugin are still being displayed in English. Let me know what else to do, how to proceed from here.

    Thread Starter apollosk

    (@apollosk)

In this particular case, I installed the revamped version for a client. And now I regret that decision. In the legacy version there was no problem translating the static language strings. In the new one, there is an issue with some texts like “Show more” and “Show less”. I can’t stress enough how important it is to have the ability to fully translate the frontend content of the plugin.

    (@apollosk)

Thank you for your reply. Why don’t you make static texts like “Show more”, “Show less”, etc. available for translation within the plugin? I don’t want to rely on someone else and waste my time waiting for months for something as simple as approving a translation of a button text. Please take it into consideration.

@cookieyesteam I translated the abovementioned static texts in Macedonian as per your guidelines. How long does it take for a moderator to approve them?

It will be convenient to make them available for translation within the plugin.
