In reply to: 500 Server Error After Upgrade To WordPress 4.0I had the same issue but was able to fix it by disabling the “WordPress SEO by Yoast” plugin. Reinstalling it did not help, so I decided to simply skip using it for now. Pity since it’s one of the better SEO plugins out there :-/
If anybody having had the same issue gets it to work properly, please let me know!

You are absolutely right, I must say we have had nothing but problems with our current hosting provider (Strato), and this is the last straw.
