Now that that is sorted out… I still have this issue to sort out.

Are we saying that I can’t likely do it myself as it’s complicated – the documentation in the link doesn’t make it clear enough for me – or is it straight-forward?
    Thanks

@fourleafed thanks. I have candidates applying with only their online resume in my setup. The form that appears to logged out users trying to apply must say something along the lines of…

To apply you need an online resume. Click here (active link to account set up page) to set one up. It’s quick, easy and free!

The Jobify theme / WP Job Manager application process now allows for online resume AND email or URL application. There is apparent way of disabling the email/ URL facility and using just “online resume for logged in users.”

For someone who knows what they are doing I’m sure it’s quite simple to set up. I don’t want to have to keep making the change whenever the theme is updated either.

@fourleafed I’m going to have to study this. My child theme is created by the use of a single style.css file. There do not appear to be any child theme files to update? Your reply suggests there may be another way to establish a child theme. My knowledge at this level is very limited I’m afraid. I’d rather hoped it would be easier to do than this!

On reflection it’s the plugin I’m changing not the theme, so a theme update should make no difference. Is this right?

Ok, this’ll take me some time to sort as I am not a developer. I use a child theme so any customisations remain when the theme is updated. The doc reads as though this change will need to be redone at every theme update.

Is this right or do I misunderstand the doc?

This answer would interest me too.

    Yes.

Just typing this support question made me think of how to solve it. I created a new page and the filled in the link section for Edit Address and Account with the full https:// address.

My issue now is that the https function that I have is showing as unsafe. Any ideas?

    Thanks
