I’m having this exact same problem, too. Both with the categories blank and not knowing how or where to enter the information on the db.
Hi. This worked great for me, too, but now, when I want to add new categories, the new categories take on the later numbers, instead of the lower ones. How do I set it so that when I add new categories, each new category takes on the next number on my existing list of categories?
I tried this fix, but I’m still not able to set a file variable in wp_list_cats. It uses index.php and not the archive.php I set it to use. Am I missing something?
