Thanks for the reply but this is not what I’m wanting to do as I know I can already change the content using the above method, what I want to know is how to apply a different page template for the event content to appear in. This template is part of the theme not the plugin.

That’s disappointing as there is no easy way to edit existing widgets you have created without having to starting from scratch.

Hope this is something you reconsider at some point.
