The Customizer uses PHP resources allocated to your site to run smoothly. In case it is not loading properly, you can try increases the resources as well. You can try performing the steps outlined here.
If this doesn’t resolves the issue, it would be best to reach out the theme support.

You can either use a plugin to do this or download the data from X and move it to Y manually using PHP MyAdmin. This might help you out.
