    Yes, it seems that the webp file is generated !

    Here is a .jpg I just uploaded : https://www.gobabygym.fr/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/PO-10sept.jpg
    If I remplace the url by https://www.gobabygym.fr/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/PO-10sept-jpg.webp the webp image appears.

    But on the pages I created with WPBakery .webp images are not displayed.

    Hello,

    After 5 month and many updates, the problem is still present on my 2 websites. Webp images are not created when I upload JPG images.
    I think it’s because I use WPBakery. Is it possible ?

    Hello,

    I have tested with the plugins Pixfort Core and Pixfort likes desactivated and it don’t work. (these are 2 plugins that comes with my theme “Essential” by pixfort)

    I have not tested with Twenty Twenty-two theme because I’m not sure if I do this it will probably break my website.

    Hello,

    Unfortunatly the issue is still present after the update.
    I have updated and tested on my 2 websites and there is not webp image generated when i upload and publish a jpeg file.

    Hello,

    I have desactivate all my plugins. Then reactivated one by one.
    Everything works fine until i activate the plugin “Google Listings and Ads” by WooCommerce Version 1.12.1

    So now I have all my other plugins activated except “Google Listings and Ads” , and it works well … the conflict comes with this plugin.

    Hello,

    I have tested with chrome, edge and opera. The issue is still there.
    So i tested after cleaning browser’s cache. Same problem.

    I will try to test with all plugins desactivated as soon as possible but it is hard to do so…

    I will wait for the release of the new version because i’m not comfortable with php.

    Hello,

    I have updated to 1.0.0-beta.3 and followed your instructions and the issue is still there.
    No Webp image created in the media library when I upload a JPG. And when I look to a new published post with a new uploaded JPG in, with the developper tools in Chrome, the image displayed is still a jpeg.

    Hello Bethany,

    I have tested your solution on my 2 websites but the issue is still there.
    Then I have updated performance lab to Version 1.0.0-beta.2 (the update appears this morning for me) and the Webp images are still not generated.
