In reply to: [Add Descendants As Submenu Items] grab posts from taxonomy@ qstudio: “I saw someone asked a year ago”
I don’t think the author has responded to a support request here in about a year. His last comment on the support post for this plugin on his personal site was 7 months ago :(. (http://www.viper007bond.com/wordpress-plugins/add-descendants-as-submenu-items/)

In reply to: [NextGen Gallery Powertags] NextGEN Gallery 2.0.0 conflict/errorWOW. This is a shame for you and NGP. Photocrati really has a problem on their hands. I can’t imagine anyone wanting to use NGG that conflicts with so many other, major plugins: Soliloquy, Royal, Evolution, Nivo Sliders all break, even after NG 2.0.7. Even Contact Form 7.
At least they have fixed problems with major themes like Twenty Twelve, Twenty Thirteen and Elegant Themes. Did they not test with these themes and popular plugins?
I was wondering if you would be adding your plugin to their list of plugins broken after their update? There are still 16 plugins listed as broken after NGG 2.x. Perhaps they will be able to correct the situation and NGP 1.6.4 will be clean or need only something minor that they can (help to) identify.

In reply to: [Add Descendants As Submenu Items] Sub-category under wrong parentHey! I’m back with a live site and the same problem. The categories represent national hierarchies (eg. North America > USA > Texas).
Each of the ‘continents’ represent the highest level of menu item, cascading to the nation & region/state.
However, not all of the subcategories (counties) end up under their parent categories (continents):
- Australia is placed under Italy when they are peer subcategories under different parent categories.
- Western Cape (Africa/South Africa/Western Cape) is placed under South America.
I’ve put up screencaps of the current menu structure here, and the category structure for Oceania/Australia/<state> here, Africa here.

In reply to: [NextGen Gallery Powertags] NextGEN Gallery 2.0.0 conflict/errorThe rollback from NGG 2.0 is quite simple and takes only a few minutes.
See: http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/how-to-rollback-a-version/
… which includes this warning:
WARNING!
DO NOT delete the plugin through your WordPress dashboard! Doing so, you will lose all of your galleries PERMANENTLY!Mauro… It’s too bad their update causes problems with your plugin because it still doesn’t do what NGP ‘powertags’ does.
At this point, this problem is ‘resolved’ – posts and galleries work again – but it may soon break again once bit-rot beings to set in. (Hopefully it will we OK with WP 3.6!)

In reply to: [NextGen Gallery Powertags] Expected behaviour for displaying gallery imagesYes, it works very well! Perhaps better than expected – it seems that the “include” parameter is now not required. I have tested several posts and galleries and find that I can use “unique” and “exclude” and not use “include”.
I am happy to do more testing on additional galleries and provide my results (please let me know by email). As far at this original topic, it may be marked closed if you are also satisfied.
Thanks for the great support for your plugin!
