In reply to: [AntiSpam for Contact Form 7] Honeypot messes up Japanese formsCiao @codekraft
Thank you very much – that fixed it! I really appreciate your fast work and great plugin.
Grazie!
My thought exactly. Just this hour (and thanks to this post: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/ajax-stops-working-with-contact-form-7) I found out this plugin is the reason why my contact form 7 isn’t working properly anymore (AJAX error). Because of that error, Google Analytics wasn’t able to record contact form submissions anymore.
I should’ve looked into Invisible Recaptcha earlier… As you said, it looks like it was abandoned.

In reply to: [Invisible reCaptcha for WordPress] AJAX Stops Working with Contact Form 7YES! Actually, thank you so much for creating this post. I’ve noticed this AJAX error because Google Analytics just stopped recording the contact form event from one day to the next. I really didn’t know where to look at next.
So, thanks to your hint, I just deactivated “Invisible recaptcha” plugin, and suddenly the contact forms are working again!Actually, that Invisible RC plugin has not been tested with the latest versions of WordPress. Looking at its changelog from the past, apparently, there have been reports of AJAX-related issues: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/problem-with-ajax-after-update/
Also, this update has not been tested with the last 3 major WordPress updates, as discussed here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/this-plugin-hasnt-been-tested-with-latest-3-major-releases-of-wp/
So, I’d recommend to avoid it for the time being.

Hi @yordansoares
thank you, I appreciate your fast reply.
However, we have followed these exact instructions from the link posted when setting everything up. As I mentioned, all the tracking worked just fine until now.It might be related to the visitors coming through our Google ads campaign, but I don’t know how this might affect CF7 events…

AlexHi Emre,
I have not tried this yet… We have many visitors per day, so we can’t afford to break the design every time we want to try something. Next time it happens, I will try to deactivate the plugin. For restoring/re-building the minified resources, is there any other way?Hi Emre,
I appreciate the fast response.
I deactivated the “Combine css” option and cleared all cache and deleted minified resources. However, the error occurred again – on fewer pages than before, I think, but still a few were broken and had to be re-published manually.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Visual Composer Website Builder] Page design broken irreversiblyHi Rohan,
I found a solution. The problem was caused by a wrong WPML setting that ordered WPBakery’s custom CSS to always copy themselves to the translation. However, WPBakerym creates individual CSS for each and every row/section and every translation – so referring to the primary language page’s CSS in the translation won’t work.
Here’s the setting to change this:
WPML – Settings – Custom Fields Translation – Show system fields – search for “_wpb_shortcodes_custom_css” – unlock the field and select “Copy once”
I have no clue, though, how this setting could have changed recently.

In reply to: [Visual Composer Website Builder] Page design broken irreversiblyThe page I’m talking about is: https://avinton.com/en/home-en/
It looked perfectly fine (with a background image in the top section) until I connected it to the Japanese translation: https://avinton.com/home-jp-duplicated/Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Visual Composer Website Builder] Page design broken irreversiblyHi understand,
but since it came with the paid theme, I don’t see a reason to purchase it separately. Also, please note:
the pages of both languages look fine when published – but ONLY UNTIL I connect them to each other using WPML’s options (“This is a translation of ‘Home'”). Once both translations are connected to each other, the design of (just!) one of them breaks.
So it could also be an error with WPML – what do you think?

In reply to: [Visual Composer Website Builder] Page design broken irreversiblyHi Rohan,
thank you for your answer. Actually, somebody must have moved my question to the Visual Composer sub-forum. I am aware that VC and WPBakery are two different plugins.
Since we got WPBakery with our theme, we cannot ask WPBakery’s support team, unfortunately. Our theme owner didn’t have any clues either, so that’s why I posted here…
