Hi, I’ve already tried that but there’s no option for timestamp / time of posting. I’ve already got the date, but I would like to show the time too.

Yes. Setting a featured photo only shows the picture on homepage with excerpt. The single post still will not show the picture if I set it in between the paragraphs of my post.
I’m using WordPress version 4.1, which I believe is the latest…?
