In reply to: [Lite Cache] Very GoodChristine,
Did you install wordpress in root or a subdirectory? I am trying to determine if the Lite Cache plugin compression/GZIP only works in root. This feature is enabled by copying and pasting the code under the Lite Cache’s “.htaccess tab” into the beginning of the .htaccess file on your server.
Thank you in advance.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Settings file not stickingJonathan,
UPDATED:I am not using Google PageSpeed and I’ve checked all my activated plugins. After I get the previous error (above) and save the settings, I get this one:
Can’t change configuration: Can’t write to file main/beta/wp-content/w3tc-config/master-admin.php
Cheers,

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Settings file not stickingHello,
I am getting the same error message after installing the W3 Total Cache (0.9.4) plugin:
W3 Total Cache: Default settings are in use. The configuration file could not be read or doesn’t exist. Please save the settings to create the file.
I have made the necessary changes to my permissions to no effect.
Thank you in advance!
