I only write to tell you that I found the solution: I’ve uncheck the box “Facebook Connect Via SSL” in the plugin’s configuration site of my WP.
Now I can see the connect button and my friends pictures also using Internet Explorer.

and thnx Nico, but I tried to find something similar in the plugin code without success. Besides from that I’ve changed the wordpress theme to the “default” one and I have the same issues with IE.
If you have another idea, please tell me about it.

I found ‘smartec’ idea really practical, that was why I’ve also created a test site with the Strawberry Blend theme and the fbconnect plugin installed.

I have the same problem than ‘girlstoys’ as you can see here. I can’t see the connect button and the pictures of the community members in IE. Of course have I also included the ‘extra code’ in the header.php file but I thing the problem probably is in the theme style file (it’s a pretty theme, perhaps too much, called Strawberry Blend).It would be really nice if you could help me with this annoying problem.
