Dropping back to 1.4.4 does seem to fix it. With current versions, this is what I get: http://screencast.com/t/aeFIwY37zFhr

I’m seeing the same thing.

Advanced Custom Fields 4.4.2 and Advanced Custom Fields: Image Crop Add-on 1.4.5
