so the webhost guys either disabled mod_security or they created a mod_security exception to make these rest_api urls work.

Hello,
Sorry for the late response.

I wrote the webhost telling them there is a 403 error on these rest api urls.
They said they changed a php “mod_security” setting and then it worked again.

However, this problem is popping up again and again with different people. I do think this could be a wordpress issue.
