Hey @hiskingdomprophecy,
The
wp_aioseo_crawl_cleanup_logsare releated to our Crawl Cleanup – Query Arg Monitoring feature, which can be found under Search Appearance > Advanced > Query Arg Monitoring. You can disable the feature there. With regard to BLC, you must enable the Uninstall option under Settings > Advanced before removing the plugin – otherwise the tables are left untouched. The reason why you have to do this is because we’d otherwise wipe the data even if the user only wants to simply uninstall and then reinstall the plugin.
Hey @hiskingdomprophecy,
It looks like all the meta data is being appended to line 5, which is not correct behaviour, but it works fine and doesn’t cause any issues.
If you paste this into your browser, you will see the tags between the delimiters:
view-source:https://www.hiskingdomprophecy.com/?aioseo-devIf you’d like us to take a look, feel free to reach out to us at https://aioseo.com/contact. But again, this is not causing any issues.
Hey @ibiza69 ,
I believe I’ve been able to diagnose and fix the issue. Can you please try out this beta build and let me know if it resolves the errors for you?
Hey all,
I believe I’ve been able to diagnose and fix the issue. Can you please try out this beta build and let me know if it resolves the errors for you?
We’ll definitely look into that. Thank you for the feedback!
Ah, now it makes sense. The check is always present, even if your site is indexed. It simply auto-completes if your site is indexable. So, if it’s always been in the Completed list, then that’s the expected behaviour. I understand why that is a little bit confusing though.
Hey @tooni, that is correct. So, the check should not be displaying. Does it go away if you simply click on the “Dismiss” action link?
@tooni that’s strange. That’s the only setting we check to determine whether this check should be displayed. I’m not sure if you have access to your database, but if you do, can you check what the value is of the
blog_publicrecord in your options table? Alternatively, please feel free to reach out to our support team at https://aioseo.com/contact via the Basic Question form (link at the bottom) and they’ll be happy to look into this for you.Hey @rosterdotcom,
That works! There is a cleaner way to do it though. If you edit the relevant user’s profile and go to our Author SEO tab, you’ll see a setting called Author Bio URL. You can enter any custom URL there and then the “See Full Bio” link will be replaced with it.
Hey @tooni,
The plugin checks whether you’ve enabled the “Discourage search engines from indexing this site” setting under General > Reading. Is that setting enabled?
Hi @nitrofox,
This issue is related to themes that are lacking title tag support. We’ll be issuing a hotfix for it next Monday.
We’ve also found a second ticket from you from Feb 1 regarding Action Scheduler. Our team replied to you the same day, but has not heard from you since. Could you check your spam folder for any e-mails from [email protected]?
EDIT: hadn’t noticed you already replied. No worries, feel free to follow up via e-mail, we’re more than happy to help!
Hey @alienjackhammer,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I managed to track down your ticket from December 12, 2025. It looks like there was some back-and-forth between you and our support team on Dec 12–16. We didn’t hear from you anymore after (perhaps our last reply ended up in your spam), so our team actually sent you a follow-up on Jan 8 to let you know about the fix we included in our 4.9.3 update. I can see your website is already updated to the latest version so you should no longer need the script you wrote to dequeue the TOC script.
Hey @alienjackhammer,
Thank you for getting back to me.
I completely understand your frustration. When you pay for a product, you expect timely support to come with it. I want to assure you that our team takes this seriously. Our inbox has actually been pretty quiet lately, and we’ve been responding to most tickets within the hour. So, there’s definitely something strange going on here.
I checked our support form entries and couldn’t find any tickets related to the ToC block or bloat, so something may have gone wrong when your ticket was submitted. Could you share the email address you used, your name, or your website so I can do a deeper search? If you’d rather not post it publicly, feel free to reach out to me directly at the email I shared above. I really want to get this resolved, as this isn’t the experience I want you to have with our product or our team.
In the meantime, I took a look at our Table of Contents block and the JS script doesn’t appear to be injected when the block isn’t in use (see https://a.supportally.com/i/GM0YKh). Could you share some more details about where and when you’re seeing the script load? That’ll help me dig into this further.
