I had tried numerous changes to the WP Latest Posts settings but nothing changed.
I tried out a number of different themes and most of them did not glitch in any way. I am using a child theme I created which has the glitch, the parent theme has the same glitch, and one other theme I tried has the glitch, but all the other themes worked fine. It appears that it is some sort of theme conflict. Unfortunately for me I’m locked down to the theme I’m using. 🙁
