Thank you Zeba for your thoughtful and in-depth reply. I appreciate you looking into the issues and the time you have put into making your plugin even better.
I can take care of resizing my images as needed, I was just hopeful that a plugin could do it, although I now understand the limitations of WordPress issues. I’ll mark this as resolved for now and I’ll gladly give you a 5 star review for the support and plugin features. Thanks again!Thank you Zeba for providing the updated plugin.
I have done some testing today and although it is a little better, there are still issues. I have uploaded a screen capture video here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/18YoHCzpkZmG-69g4qrBDuaqOUZSg9ums/view?usp=sharing
For reference:
- When using the Woocommerce thumbnail 300×300 resolution, it does not help with the image cropping. I have tried all of the render types with hardly no change. The only thing height does is scretch the product box.
- When using the Woocommerce single product 600×0 resolution, I get slightly better results, but it is still just stretching images height wise. Again, all the height slider does is stretch the product box.
The cropped render type just puts the images back to where they were before the update with the tops and sides cut off, and the contain render type works a little better for seeing the entire product image, but the image resolution of 600×0 only changes the box, however the actual product image itself is much smaller and hard to see.
3. When using the Full resolution, the stretched render just distorts the images, cropped cuts the sides off no matter the position or height and contain again shrinks the images and makes them too small.
I think you’re onto something with the updates, but many of the renders, positions and heights are just changing the product box itself instead of resizing the image to fit the product box.
Ideally we should be able to set the size of the image from the resolution and just slightly adjust positioning from your new options but it is not working that way yet.The best results that I found were with the 600×0 resolution, a height of 300 in stretched render, but although I can see the entire image, they are just distorted and too small.
Lastly, here’s another screenshot of a different site that has the sizing, layout and image resolution down perfectly. This is what we should be, or are hoping to be able to accomplish with your plugin. https://drive.google.com/file/d/14PhMYk2g1CnvFbd9RwBzSLdzzj-b0Uyc/view?usp=sharing
Please review the video and let me know if this helps or if you need any further testing or updates.Thank you!
Hello, do you have any updates regarding this issue with your feature plugin? I’m trying to get my site launched soon, but can’t do so without the product images being displayed properly.
Thank you.

In reply to: [WP Recipe Maker] One issue, one questionThanks!
I didnt think about the mobile aspect since I work on a Mac, I always assume I can use text on my computer too via messaging lol. I’ll check that out on my phone to make sure it works.
I use blocks however to add the recipe, not a shortcode. Can I just add the CSS to the Edit CSS option in template editor, or will that be overwritten with any updates?
Also, lastly, is there any ability that I haven’t yet found, or future plans to give the option to add more than 1 image to an instruction step? I seem to only be able to add 1 per step and I didnt see this option listed in the Premium version.
Thanks again!
