OK, this is resolved.

I had originally downloaded myself, then uploaded via FTP, and this didn’t work.
I deleted this.

Then from within WP, plugins, found and installed it that way and is there now.

Let me try un-activating it and re-activating it again. And failing that I’ll check the logs.
