Well, to be honest, I had everything set up in a test environment and the Post Block showed fine, indeed without the read more links. When I was happy with the set up, I exported everything and imported it to my main site and suddenly the links were there. I did have a child theme with a customized link text, but for another theme.

I’ve had some other issues with pages not showing correctly, because I missed some plugins that I did have in the test environment. I guess that messed up more than I could see on first sight…

Thanks, I didn’t know about the ‘Latest Posts’ block! The links are fine now. I’m happy again 🙂
