iLen, your latest update fixes utils.php, but I think the error as I posted it occurs in plugin.php.
Am not a programmer. Just thinking aloud.

Hi iLen,
The PHP version in my hosting is 5.3.29, but it is still showing the said error message.

When I browsed the wp-admin files, I found therein a php.ini file. I renamed the file, and that solved the problem.
Thank you, Matt, for all you did. I’m a premium user, by the way.
