Currently, FluentBoards does not have an additional setting to enable text formatting in the comments section. The comments are designed to remain simple and consistent across all boards for better readability and compatibility.
That said, we truly appreciate your input, and we have noted this request and shared it with our development team for consideration in a future update. Feedback from users like you is very important to us and helps us improve FluentBoards for the entire community.

Yes, FluentBoards includes a frontend portal feature that allows boards to be displayed on the front end of your website. This makes it possible for users to view and interact with boards. You can find full documentation on how to configure this here: https://fluentboards.com/docs/frontend-portal-settings/
However, please note that only users who are members of a board can access and view that specific board from the front end. Because of this, it works best for internal teams, clients, or selected users rather than as a fully public roadmap visible to all site visitors.

Regarding the bugs you mentioned (layout breaking after saving, colors not being saved, and the error alert), our development team has already identified and fixed these issues internally. To get the fix right away, please submit a support ticket here.
Our support team will provide you with an updated beta version where these problems are resolved. The fixes will also be included in the next public release.
As for your usability and UX feedback, thank you for highlighting those points. We understand your concerns about configuration visibility, color settings, labels, and overall clarity. I’ve shared this feedback with our development and product team so it can be considered for future usability and improvement updates.

The ideas you mentioned, such as dynamic due dates, conditional steps, and a split detailed view with main tasks on the left and subtasks or extra details on the right, would definitely add more flexibility and make it easier to build repeatable processes inside FluentBoards.
We’ve already forwarded your full suggestion, along with the clear explanation you provided, to our Product team so they can explore it in their research and planning phase. Every new feature request goes through a review process where the team evaluates feasibility, priority, and how it fits into the overall roadmap. Because of this, we’re not able to give a timeline or guarantee when or whether these features will be added.

Thank you for your interest in FluentBoards and we really appreciate your efforts to use FluentBoards to bring transparency to your non-profit!
FluentBoards does offer a Frontend Portal feature that allows users to view and interact with boards directly from the frontend of your website. Please note, however, that users need to be logged in and members of the board to access it.
Regarding comments, yes tasks include a comment feature, allowing members to collaborate and discuss directly on individual tasks. You can see a visual guide here.

At this time, fully public boards (viewable to everyone without login) are not supported. We truly appreciate your suggestion.
