In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Cannot Sync when item added to both platformsHi, I started a support ticket for this 2 days ago but haven’t heard anything and can’t find it in my dashboard. It also looks like as it is a free plugin, it is pushing me towards the forum anyway? This is tedious and honestly. so much more dragged out than feels necessary, it is feeling very difficult to get some actual support.

Please explain to me why I am going to WooCommerce for support when it is not the store that is the problem?
It has been about 2 weeks of seeking support, why only now am I being redirected?
Please explain what I need to do to get this PLUGIN issue which you have previously identified as developers – as I linked above – to be resolved.

when I add items that ARE ALREADY in square, it will not sync. Even when they match exactly at every level.
when I add items that ARE NOT YET in square, it syncs perfectly and adds new item to square.
I see in previous ticket that this was an issue some months ago and it was supposedly being worked on. Clearly it is an issue still, so can you please advise me how to get around this? Deleting 78 products from square is not an option at this stage.
syncing square > woo is not ideal as there are 2000 products in square, and the store owner has incorrectly entered them on the square end, so sync will never work properly if I do that.
Please advise urgently, I am needing to advise my client.
Here is the ticket which states the bug you acknowledged was being fixed, that we are experiencing right now.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Square] Sync spinning for 24 hours Woo > SquareHi, I can try that but I think you have misunderstood the original problem (?) – the sync is stuck. If the sync just completed instead of getting caught in a loop, we wouldn’t have a problem. I cant force a sync to start when it is stuck ‘syncing’ but it never ends.
So, the issue at the heart of this is: It is doing an auto-sync, despite that being disabled, and then getting stuck on the loop and the sync never happens. Sometimes it finally ends after 24-30 hours, and then it has an error and nothing synced.
If I DO manually ‘sync now’ it works fine every time.
Appreciate a response on this before I go changing themes and disabling all plugins. Thank you!Forum: Plugins

When I then went into square and added stock levels for each variation (size) and went back into Woocommerce >settings >square > update , the sync had started automatically and then got stuck in a loop – the wheel spins forever and nothing changes/updates in either woo or square.
We have Automatic updates turned OFF from the Plugins section.
In settings > square > the sync interval frequency is set to 1 hour. we have tried several different intervals in this section and nothing has made a deference.
the issue is definitely when the system auto syncs. It simply never stops syncing and no updates occur.Forum: Plugins
