In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Too Many Files In One Place On ServerHi, thank you for your reply. Is there an instruction guide for how I can cache fewer pages?
Or how I would reduce the expiry time? I am not so well versed in using the dashboard, but if you can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.
We don’t necessarily need to cache every page, so the suggestions you made would be helpful.
I just am not sure how to implement them. Thank you for your help.

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Too Many Files In One Place On ServerCould anyone help me to create a mod_rewrite statement in htaccess using Apache so that the plugin puts each file in a different folder based on the first letter of the file’s name, such as folder A, B, C, etc.
And how would I use the static html file creation in your plugin? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Ok, thanks. It seems to be working now. It’s a very good plugin, that offers many more features than the other plugins available. Thanks!
Ok thanks. I upgraded the php version to 5.6 How long does it usually take to recognize this and reactivate the plugin?
Ok, so I am confused. Above you said it is compatible with 5.1 to 5.6. But now it is not compatible with 5.1.
So, can you please tell me where the data can be recovered, so that I can install a plugin that is compatible? Thank you.
Hi, I think it does not work, because it tells me in the Plugins area that it does not work. In fact, it detects WordPress 5.4.19, but needs 5.6 in order to work, and I have 4.9.1 according to the version.php file.
I am unable to attach a screenshot, but here is a copy and paste of the alert message:
Redirection
Disabled! Detected PHP 5.4.19, need PHP 5.6+ | Deactivate
Manage all your 301 redirects and monitor 404 errorsVersion 4.8 | By John Godley | View details
I can send a screenshot via email if you would like, but this interface does not allow me to attach the screenshot that I took. Thanks!
Hi, I was able to check, and my WordPress version is 4.9.16. Is it possible to upgrade WordPress to not the newest version, such as to version 5.1?
It recently happened that your Redirection plugin stopped working, however, if I visit a page that was setup with the redirection plugin, the page still works properly. However, this may not be a permanent situation, and I also cannot add any new redirections at this time, since I can’t access the dashboard.
Can you tell me where the data is, so that I can possibly migrate to a redirection plugin that is compatible with my version of wordpress? I do not want these to stop working at some point soon, so I need to recover the data in preparation. Thank you very much.
