In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Great plugin, poor supportThe initial acknowledgment of the order was quick, but then it took several days to get the details straight, and almost three weeks of prompting to get them to actually complete the work. The benchmarks they use show a page load speed improvement from 1.39 to 1.09 seconds.
Now that the work is done, we are unable to get any kind of documentation as to what changes were actually made on the server level (within the plug-in you can see what they did).

In reply to: [External Links] External Links PerformanceWe have a similar issue with performance, External Links is the 2nd most resource intensive plugin on our site. We are going to have to disable it until this improves, but love the plugin so hope to be back soon!

In reply to: [WP Activity Log] Security Alerts Pruning not working as intendedSame issue here. For one of our sites the workaround worked fine. For another one, after deleting the tables mentioned above, if we try and reactivate the plugin the activation fails. In phpMyAdmin I can see the wp_wsal_metadata table filling up rapidly (several MB in seconds) until the site responds with “service unavailable.”
I think the issue might be related to old tables: are wp_wordpress_auditlog and wp_wordpress_auditlog_events still necessary? Deleting those as well prior to reinstalling seems to have solved the issue. Note that those tables are not recreated after the reinstall.
Okay, after some research it looks like those tables are no longer necessary: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/plugin-stopped-responding-after-new-version-100?replies=4. Dropping them as well should help the workaround work for anyone having issues still.
Nice, thanks for the tutorial!

In reply to: [Redirection] Redirect search filter breaks during paginationUpdate: if I “type in” the page #, it works. It only breaks if I use the arrows.

In reply to: [404 to Start] Terrible for SEOThat must have been included in an update since I wrote this. At the time of writing, the default was the start page. Either way, a problem that needed to be addressed. Next up: change the misleading plugin title!
Same request here – it would be fantastic to have a retention limit to say, set the logs to only be kept for the trailing 7 or 30 days.

In reply to: [Advanced Editor Tools] advanced linkHey guys, advanced link is a huge missing feature for us and the primary reason we were using TinyMCE Advanced. We not only used the rel attribute for nofollow, but onclick for GA tracking and more. Would love to see this added back!

In reply to: [Google Content Experiments] Comment tags removed from codeThe pages *are* redirecting to the variants; does that mean it’s working? Ie. validation is not necessary?

In reply to: [Kebo Twitter Feed] Nofollow links?Okay, ran some more tests and I’m pretty sure it’s not your plugin. Sorry for the confusion.

In reply to: [Kebo Twitter Feed] Nofollow links? It appears to be a conflict with our theme, Sahifa (from Tielabs). And even though disabling Kebo resolves it, I’m not sure it’s your plugins’ fault. Would it help to give you admin access to the site?
