Tried the workaround proposed by @dangcv but it is messing up the price being passed on to paypal. It is chopping off the last digit in the total amount. Suddenly our customers are getting huge discounts! 🙂
Turned off website payments from my site until this is resolved. Setting up now a mirror site using shopify.
