the odd thing is that it was creating redirects for things we didn’t even change. That includes any fake file additions.
I’m having the same issue across FB & Twitter.
I’ve had the same issues at themusicuniverse.com. Open graph will not either pull article information or it pulls it with a black or blank image (same thing on Twitter). This has started happening this week and when I opened up my own thread about this, I was told it was a server issue (which I confirmed isn’t). I’ve deactivated every plugin, etc. I feel like it’s an issue within Yoast itself.
These results vary each time they’re scanned. This is strange, but thanks for your assistance.

Did you guys make any updates to the open graph? I haven’t changed anything and always keep things updated, but the debug tool is showing the following:
Could Not Connect To Server –
Check that the webserver is running, and that there are no firewalls blocking Facebook’s crawlers.Inferred Property – The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
Missing Properties – The following required properties are missing: og:url, og:type, og:title, og:image, og:description, fb:app_id
