It worked! Many thanks. I added the code using the plugin called Custom CSS & JS.
Now, if you visit my website you will see that the background color of the whole header more or less matches the background of the logo. Only problem is that the whole thing looks quite ugly because there are distinct borders to the left and right of the logo.
I wonder if there’s a way to remove the two borders. I’ve googled for a solution but no luck.
