Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Registration feature not enabledAfter some troubleshooting, I discovered that the problem lies with another plugin – WPS Hide Login – which hides all standard WP login URLs and redirects to website-home/login. I deactivated this plugin and the registration link works. I reactivated the plugin and I get the same error message. I’ll open a support ticket for the WPS Hide Plugin.
Hi @priyagoenka – any update? I noticed some new WPEM related entries on the WordPress-dashboard->appearance->additional-css. So, I know your team is working on troubleshooting this. However, both the symptoms as described above are still present. Can you provide a status and a timeline for resolution?
Hi @priyagoenka – I don’t know if you changed anything on the backend, but at this time, layout_type setting of box or list are both generating views in the list format.
@priyagoenka – you are free to review the pages from the WordPress backend. I shared the credentials with you on a recent paid add-on related ticket. Please advise how to resolve the two issues – text in columns vs. rows and event list in box view despite specifying list view. Thanks.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Global fontsize change for Woocommerce pagesThanks @kellymetal! This works like a charm.
Hello,
This is the URL for the page that shows the events in list view using the shortcode. You have to scroll down to see the event list.
[events event_types=”conference” show_filters=”false” layout_type=”list” orderby=”event_start_date”]This is the URL for the page that shows the events in a box view despite the following shortcode clearly calling for a list view.
[events event_types=”conference” show_filters=”false” layout_type=”list”]The website is under development. Hence the staging URL.
Thanks for your help!
So no one has developed fully featured conference webpages using WP Event Manager? Do I understand it right that the plug-in is limited to short Eventbrite-like event listings?
I’ve invested several hundred dollars in paid add-ons hoping I could build feature-rich conference pages but WP Event Manager and the add-ons fall far short of expectations.
Still hoping someone can point me in the right direction for building fully-featured conference pages with WP Event Manager.
A related question – I am hosting two types of events – 1) webinars that are typically an hour long with a single speaker or a panel and 2) conferences that are day-long or multi-day events each with several talks/sessions. I would like two different single-event templates for the two types of events. For webinars, the template would allow for a paragraph about the webinar and a picture and bio of the speaker. For conferences, the single event template would allow for all the details listed in the previous post. Is it possible to have two or more templates to choose from for single event pages?
Thank you!
