Thank you so much for the clarity. The issue was being caused as both Nginx Direct Caching and Sitegrounds MemCaching were both active. (both were memory-based caching)
Post disabling that, we have had no incidents of invalid first interaction points being captured.
Your plugin is truly great and we will be considering upgrading to the V3 version.
