Very confused, though I love your plugin and subscribed for a new site. I had to modify my old site, AuthorDan.com, to have a book cover that, on the backend should have a picture or — even better — more than one link for 3 to 4 online bookstores. I have successfully done this with my paid version on the in-progress new site, AuthorDan.com/staging/7430. But I saw no way to do this wit6h the free version for my old site (needs temporary fixes until it gets replaced by the in-progress site where I have your paid version). That’s because the red background was all O could show, and the description. Perhaps my problem is that I do not know how to add the html that I obtained, or the CSS that I got. Seems there should be no need for that code, however: I just want text on the backend to have different links for each line of text. It’d be nice to control the text size, font, etc. as well. The installed version for my old site is the free one, but it does not state that the features I tried to add are only with the paid version. Please instruct me how to do this with the free version.
Also, I’m not happy with my theme, Highend, and the WP Bakery free editor it has. Please tell me whether I can discard the theme entirely (perhaps use WP 2015 or 2019 or even have no theme) and make pages directly with my Slider6 that have up to three distinct sliders on a page, plus use your great product on those sliders. Might that work or should I stay with Highend and/or WP Bakery (lite/free/buggy version)?
Thanks for your reply. New problem since updating your and several plugins & the theme on my in-progress website:
The hover images just show code for some, the images for others.
My page is under construction and you cannot see it without logging in as an admin. I will allow that with editing privileges if you give me your email (mine is [email protected]). That way, you can investigate what caused this problem and then improve your plugin or its instructions. You could fix the problem, if you would be so kind, or instruct me.
Either way, you will benefit by discovering what went wrong. Can you please do that for me (and you)?
