Jeremy, thanks a lot! Man, I don’t think I could ever have figured that out, not in a million years. Thanks so much for your prompt response. Now I can use all the cool features of the Jetpack and still have my featured images work just fine with the template. All I did was deactivate the “Photon” feature in Jetpack settings, as you advised.
