In reply to: Site very slow after WordPress 6.8 upgradeYes. It turns out it had nothing to do with WordPress. It was a DDoS attack. Yikes. It’s fixed now.

In reply to: Site very slow after WordPress 6.8 upgradeThanks for the reply. Just for clarification, when you say “is not about that” what do you mean? Do you mean that the site loading problem is not due to the upgrade to WP 6.8?
I appreciate the advice about rolling back and security issues.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Contact form & google recaptcha issue form not submittingI resolved the issue by lowering the threshold. I found out that code found here: https://contactform7.com/en/faq-about-recaptcha-v3/#how-to-change-threshold gets added to functions.php.
I changed the threshold to .09. I had to go that low because the test messages I tried were still being labelled as spam at higher thresholds. I made these changes under the watchful eye of someone who knows more about PHP than I do. My messages are going through and so far there is no spam coming through despite the low threshold.
I’ve been using this plugin for years and sent hundreds of test messages without trouble. I really appreciate the plugin and hope this problem will not arise again. Best wishes.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Contact form & google recaptcha issue form not submittingI’m having the same problem. I’m using Version 6.0. I’d be willing to try lowering the threshold or disabling reCAPTCHA but I don’t know how to do either.
To disable would you remove the keys found in the Integration with External API section?
As to lowering the threshold I looked here https://contactform7.com/en/faq-about-recaptcha-v3/#how-to-change-threshold but I don’t know where to put that code.
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] This plugin is a hoaxI used the free version for a while and was able to integrate it into my site. It worked really well, in fact. Did you look here?
You need to use the first way since the second way requires the Pro version.
You can also contact support.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Not receiving emails after updateI got the messages after a 2+ hour delay. It looks like my web host was having issues. It’s not a problem with the plugin.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Origami] Warning message appears when using customizeOh. Maybe I asked this question in the wrong forum. My client has Origami Premium and the version is 2.7.2.

In reply to: [Origami] Warning message appears when using customizeI was wondering if there was any news on the theme update? I’ve been checking and haven’t seen anything yet.

In reply to: [Twenty Twenty] Category display optionsThank you so much! I had seen this theme option but managed to forget. (Honestly, I did search the forums before asking my question.)
Follow up:
Is there a way to arrange the results in something other than a column? A grid would be very nice. Is there an option to create an order for the results? I know I can make a single post “sticky”.TIA
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I will be more careful cutting and pasting in the future.
Thank you!

What a fast response! Thanks.
Note I have selected the thumbnails and made the border red and big just to show I’d selected it.

In reply to: [Wp-Pro-Quiz] Can the quiz start automatically?Just in case you haven’t found the answer, I think this should work. Click on the name of your quiz in the “Quiz overview” area. You should see an edit quiz button just above the name of you quiz. Click that. Then scroll down to where it says: “Autostart”. Click to enable.
