If you need me to customize the widget, I can certainly do that for you! I have already customized it for one of my customers who wanted it to be a standalone widget rather than one that is integrated into WordPress.
You kind of contradicted yourself though in your explanation of what you are looking for. You first said that you wanted to “know how to stop the widget from exiting” but then you said that “they should go into a new window.”
The current implementation takes the user to a new window and opens up the Groupon deal.
I apologize if I am misunderstanding your request. Whatever it is though, I am pretty sure I can do it for you.
