In reply to: Specific tag not working: Sorry, but nothing matchedYes, that’s what I was thinking after reading your other response that if the hyphen is ignored then the post that we talked about earlier should also appear in the results because it also has this title “Ishq-e”. But that wasn’t the case.

I’m just surprised that it used to work for me. It worked until now for 2 years. Also, there’s this other post in which there’s no such tag. For example, I haven’t added the tag “Ishqe” in this post, but when I search for this word on my website, it appears in the results. How so?

Let me explain more thoroughly for you.
The thing is, this website is a novel publishing platform and “Ishq-e-Baaran” is a novel title. But sometimes readers search the same title with different spelling. I want the novel to appear in search results even when someone searches it with different spelling such as “Ishq e Baraan” OR “Ishqe Baaraan”. Readers do this all the time. They never search the title with dash (-). They always remove.
Earlier, I used to add all the possible variations of the title to make it easy for them. It used to appear in search results when searched with a different spelling too. But now it is not working.
In case of this post, I added a tag “Baraan”. As this tag is present in the post, it should appear in the search results when searched with the same tag. But when i search it with this tag, it says, “no result found”.
Do you understand the issue now?
