All done. Thanks Jeremy!
All done. Thank you!
Hi Jeremy,
I think it somehow just needed time. I did delete the jetpack plugin dir, and tried to connect but it wouldn’t work. I went to bed, woke up, connected again, it woked.
Thank you for looking into this.

In reply to: Keep getting “password incorrect” even though I know it’s correctNo. I certainly wouldn’t want to do that, given that the user account has posts and data tied to it.

In reply to: Keep getting “password incorrect” even though I know it’s correctThere’s a dot in the username, but that hasn’t been changed I don’t believe. Should I try removing it?

In reply to: Keep getting “password incorrect” even though I know it’s correctNegatory. I copy and paste the password with no luck. I’ve also tried changing the password manually using MD5 in the database, no dice.
That method via wordpress.com actually werked. Thank you so much!
I have gone thru that process multiple times, with or without the xmlrpc.php file enabled. Each time I get this message
and it goes right back to telling me
"Jetpack: [failed_publicize_action] Invalid Publicize ID"I have opened up the xmlrpc.php file access with no luck 🙁 FWIW, the file had always given a 403 error and I haven’t made any change for a long time.

In reply to: WordPress 4.5 error after update !I can confirm that overwriting the wp-settings.php file from a fresh 4.5 zip file fixes this. WTF?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Site broken in Chrome (SSL issue)I just spent another 2 hours trying to reverse engineer the plugin to see if there’s anything I could hack… no dice. There are too many files and places that call the is_ssl() function.
I’ve reported the issue via Chrome, but I doubt they can do anything. This seems to me like a problem that has to do with WC.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Site broken in Chrome (SSL issue)JESUS F**KING CHRIST (excuse my language) you wouldn’t have any idea on the lengths through which I’ve gone to arrive to this page, and to discover this bug. I have been at this for days, and I’m so glad I’m not alone in this.
Please, if someone has any solution to this, please post. I manage a few sites and this is a big problem for me. I’m on Chrome Version 44.0.2403.61 beta-m (64-bit).
