blank white pages often needs your web hosts interaction to get fixed.
Please share your site link, and more information on how you are upgrading. The best bet is to upgrade using Dashboard > Updates.
for your pages: The theme might not showing pages by default. Try creating a menu from Apperance > Menu and attach it to a menu position.
Or you can use widget “Custom Menu” to show your pages.
It is good, simple, 3 color strong theme. Good for old fashioned people for which it is intended. Top menu seems mingled with header image. Either make it big and bold or put some separation between header image in menu.
