Thanks, innuvo. I still have some questions, however. It looks like there needs to be an additional step between 2 and 3. I already have done steps 1 and 2. In fact, I already have a business website- I just want to update it with WP, and I want to do it locally first.
My problem is that I can’t get WP to let me make a new website. It just loads up the previous site I made for learning WP. I need to know how to either get rid of the previous site, or just start a new one without getting rid of the old one.
I would also like to know where I can learn more about this issue. Don’t other people build and deploy more than one website using WP? I can’t understand why such a basic thing is not discussed anywhere.
