There are options to “increase the memory limit” (which I have now set at 16MB-max) and “increase the execution time” (now set to 60sec), but that didn’t seem to help.

I get this message at the top of the plugin screen: “The last run didn’t finish! Maybe you can raise the memory or time limit for PHP scripts.” which is why I made the changes stated above.

When I try to manually rebuild by clicking on the link that allows that option I get the max_user_connections error.

Hello figaro, and thanks. I tried it just now and deactivated the Google Sitemaps Plugin, and sure enough the error message went away. Hope Arne has got an update in process to remedy this. This plugin is quite useful for me.

That solved my problem with Justin Tadlock’s Structure theme. Made a copy of the line and changed stuff over for alignleft for the same purpose.

same problem here. wp-admin/edit-tags.php?pagenum=1 on to page 5 are blank, and an extra blank page after the pages that do have the tag list on them.

I’m running WP 2.5.1 and it worked for me, in a roundabout sort of way. My primary browser is Firefox, now at v 2.0.0.14, which has started to misbehave. I tried the fix above, editing the wp-admin/js/widgets.js file, but after line 20 I also edited line 35 in the same manner.

When I reloaded the same page in Firefox, the problem was still there. I had too many tabs open and didn’t want to close Firefox for a cache clearing, so I fired up my Safari (for windows) and accessed my blog admin from there. Lo and behold, i could now see the edit link for the RSS widget that I could not edit and remove.

Moral of the story is (for me anyway) always have more than one browser installed on your computer. I have seven (since i’m a web developer and cross-browser compatibility is part of every website we design). What seven you ask? Firefox, IE7, Flock, Safari, Netscape, Opera and Lynx.

The feature is enabled under options. The last notification I received was on December 1, which was exactly the day my webhost upgraded to PHP.

have alerted my webhost, waiting on his reply.

I’m having the same problem now. I had about a week ago upgraded to WP 1.5.2 and didn’t have any problems with it. Then my webhost upgraded to PHP 4.4.1 and I noticed that I was no longer getting email notifications of new comments. The feature is enabled under options was from December 1, which is exactly the day my webhost upgraded PHP. is there any connection or am i just paranoid?
