Thanks for your reply. Whilst I understand it increases resolution, the issue occurs just before the other elements on our page change to tablet view (and before seeing our standard mobile menu UI – much sooner when zooming than the mega menu example you referenced).
It’s difficult to explain without being able to send across a screengrab of the issue. If you view our website using Safari (note it doesn’t do this on other browsers) you will see the issue, it’s before the breakpoint of desktop going into tablet viewport size. Our mega menu desktop horizontal layout will change into a strange black mobile menu(ish) UI before the page changes to tablet when another zoom is pressed and the actual mobile menu UI is shown correctly.
