In reply to: Password Protect Not WorkingI’ve tried everything that most people have suggested, thank you. The only thing I haven’t done is deactivate Lightspeed cache plugin, and try the page again. There are only two people in the company who need access to that page, and both have cleared their cache and tried incognito windows (it has worked intermittently for them too). I have also let them know that password keepers like “LastPass” can interfere. I will try the no-cache header that someone suggested, that should work, given what we’ve uncovered. I really appreciate the input, it has helped tremendously.

In reply to: Password Protect Not Working@threadi Several of us, including my theme support people are having the same intermittent issue, all using different browsers with different set-ups. I did notice that there may be a conflict with LastPass, so I turned that off on my system. I suspect Lightspeed cache, however the problem seems to have gone away after I put that page as “don’t cache” within Lightspeed. However, now the page just loads for my clients without asking for a password, which I now suspect is their browser cache from their last attempt to enter the password.

In reply to: Password Protect Not WorkingWhen I type in the password, absolutely nothing happens. No error, no spinning, just sits there.
I will disable Lightspeed and have them try again.I am also having this problem. My hosting provider seemed to think it was Events Calendar Pro. Can’t get a straight answer out of anyone. I updated all the plugins through CPanel because the site was in such a bad state that I couldn’t log in normally. It was just warning after warning all the way down the screen. I’m at Yoast 23.9, so that didn’t help.
