  • Hi again, Ko.

Regarding using SearchWP to search within the content of PDFs and other text documents (which requires lazy load enabled), please note that the integration is with Document Library Pro, rather than Document Library Lite.

    Hi, Ko.

    Thank you for your patience.

We have created a fix for the JS error/issue (enabling lazy load when using an FSE theme, i.e. Twenty Twenty-Five and Twenty Twenty-Four, resulting in a blank document library in table view with only the column headings displayed), and included it in a hotfix version of the plugin, which you can download from this link: https://we.tl/t-NUVTlHTpC5 (active/valid for the next 3 days).

Please could you download and install this on your website, as you would a new plugin, then agree to overwrite the existing version when prompted.

Let me know whether this addresses your concern, and if you have any questions.

Many thanks! I look forward to hearing from you.

    Hi, Ko.

Thanks for your reply and understanding. The issue with lazy load and FSE themes appears to be a JS issue. Our developers are currently looking into this, and I will let keep you informed.

I appreciate the supplemental info regarding your client’s requirements. You’re correct that using SearchWP allows you to search within the content of PDF and other text documents, and this requires lazy load enabled.

Thanks for your continued patience. Please let me know if you have any more questions in the meantime.

    Best regards,

    Hi, Ko.

Thanks for the supplemental info. Well done for figuring that out – I really appreciate this detail!

I confirm that I am now able to replicate the issue when the lazy load option is enabled. There appears to be an issue between lazy load and Full Site Editing (FSE) themes, such as Twenty Twenty-Five and Twenty Twenty-Four.

I am relaying the details to our developers for review and to investigate further, and will let you know as soon as we have new information.

Thank you for telling us about this, and I’m very sorry for the inconvenience.

In the meantime, please let me know if there’s anything else that we may assist you with.

    Best regards,

    Hi, Ko.

Thanks for the update. I switched to Twenty Twenty-Four (screenshot: https://share.zight.com/v1ukW868) and Twenty Twenty-Five (screenshot: https://share.zight.com/7KurW9gE) on a test site, and the document library displays in both table and grid views. This suggests that the issue you’re experiencing is isolated to your website.

To further isolate what’s causing the issue, please could you check whether it might be due to a conflict with another plugin or perhaps custom coding or CSS that you’ve added.

To test for this, please could you back up your website and then temporarily deactivate non-essential plugins apart from Document Library Lite, remove any custom coding and/or CSS/styling you’ve added, and see if it resolves the issue. Then reactivate everything one by one to find out what causes it.

Please let me know what happens.

    Best regards,

    Hi, @lambertvs.

Thanks for your feedback. An option to “Permanently delete all Product Tabs for WooCommerce (Free) settings and data when uninstalling the plugin” is available in the plugin settings page. This allows you to restore your default WooCommerce product tab order. For what you’d like to achieve, you can enable this option and then uninstall the plugin.

Let me know how this goes.

What pro features do you think should be included in the free version?

    Best regards,

    Hi, Ko.

Thanks for using Document Library Lite. I’m happy to look into this and help sort it out.

Please could you check whether the issue you’re experiencing could be due to the theme. You can test for this by temporarily switching to a default theme, such as Twenty Twenty-Five, or Storefront by Automattic (my recommendation), or any of our Supported Themes, and see if it resolves the issue.

Please let me know how this goes.

    Hi Cynthia,

Thank you for your feedback—and you’re absolutely right.

The good news is that the Pro version includes a built-in search that works much more effectively for document searches. When using this feature, clicking a search result takes users directly to the relevant document or document page, as expected.

We really appreciate you bringing this up—your insight helps us continue improving the plugin.

If you have any questions, just let us know. We’re happy to assist!

    Cheers! – Keza

    Hi, Roger.

Thanks for using Document Library Lite!

You can add/display files stored in custom directories on your website (i.e. other than the Media Library) by setting the Document Link option to “File URL” (instead of “File upload”), to specify the file path of each file. This option is available when Adding and importing documents in the pro version. You can observe this in the different document download link URLs in our front-end demo.

The pro version also allows you to Upload documents from the front end via a front-end submission form. You can also see this in action in our front-end demo’s Upload Document page.

I hope this makes sense and helps. Please let me know if you have any more questions.

    Hi, @farooquehb.

    Thanks for getting in touch!

Yes, that’s correct. We don’t support the Gutenberg yet. While we don’t have any immediate plans to implement this, a few other customers have previously requested this feature and we’re tracking the amount of demand to help us decide whether to prioritize it in the future. I have added your ‘vote’ to our feature request list, and we will let you know if we add this to a future version of the plugin.

Would you be open to code customization perhaps?

I look forward to your reply.

    Best regards,
    Adrian

    Hi Michael,

    Thanks for following up!

You can set the priority of your custom tab on the add/edit tab screen, which will control its order. You can also set the tab’s name there, and it will be displayed on the frontend.

To find the name of your custom tabs, you should be able to see them under “Product Tabs” section when you go to Products > Product Tabs, where you created them. The tab name you set there is what will appear on the product page itself. If you’re unable to see it or have trouble identifying the tabs, feel free to share more details and I’ll guide you through it!

Let me know if you need further clarification or if you have additional questions!

    Cheers,
    Keza

    Hi Michael,

Great question! You can control the order of the tabs using the Priority field. WooCommerce assigns the following default priorities:

    Description tab: 10

    Additional Information: 20

    Reviews: 30

To place your custom tab after the default WooCommerce tabs, simply assign it a priority higher than 30, such as 40.

If you’d prefer a more visual way to manage the tab order, the premium version of the plugin includes a drag-and-drop interface for easy reordering.

    Cheers! – Keza

If it isn’t too much trouble and if you haven’t done so yet, I’d love it if you would please add a review for Posts Table Pro at https://barn2.com/reviews/posts-table-pro/.

    Hi, Jaemie.

Thanks for your reply and understanding! Plugins with license keys that are already active on a website will remain working. It is license key activation/deactivation that won’t work while our website is down.

Our website appears to be back online. Please could you retry activating your Posts Table Pro license key on your website (which should also now be working again), and let me know how it goes.

    Many thanks!

    Hi, Jaemie.

Thanks for getting in touch. I understand you’re unable to access our website at the moment, and I’m happy to assist you through here.

You’re correct that license key activation/validation isn’t possible, as our website is indeed currently down. This is due to the incident with our host, Kinsta, which you can read about at https://status.kinsta.com/incidents/xxy7fv9qk77f. This in turn is due to the incident with Cloudflare, logged at https://www.cloudflarestatus.com/incidents/25r9t0vz99rp.

Our website (and license key activation) will be back up as soon as these incidents have been resolved. I will let you know as soon as they are.

Thanks for reaching out here about this, and I’m sorry for the inconvenience.

In the meantime, please let me know if there’s anything else that we may assist you with.

    Best regards,
