    Hi there,

    Thank you for that clarification!

WooCommerce sets a default internal priority of 10 for the Description tab. If you are trying to make a custom tab appear after the Description, then you should set its priority to any number more than 10.

Regarding the reset issue you’re seeing on that first tab: have you tried setting the priority while all other plugins are inactive, except for WooCommerce and WooCommerce Product Tabs?

Please let me know if the issue persists when only those two are active, or if it saves correctly in that environment. This will help us confirm if another plugin is interfering with the save process.

    Best regards, Keza

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out! I’ve been trying to replicate this on my test site, but so far, the tab priorities are saving correctly on my end.

Since I’m unable to reproduce the issue in a clean environment, it’s likely that something specific to your setup is preventing the database from saving those changes. Could you try these basic troubleshooting steps to help us narrow it down?

Check for Plugin Conflicts: Temporarily disable other plugins (except for WooCommerce and our plugin) to see if the priority saves correctly. If it does, you can reactivate them one by one to find the culprit.

Switch to a Default Theme: Briefly switch to a standard theme like Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four to rule out a theme-specific script interfering with the save process.

Clear Caching: Ensure you’ve cleared any server-side caching or object caching (like Redis or Memcached), as these can sometimes serve old data even after you hit “Update.”

<span style=”font-size: inherit;”>Give those a try and let me know if the issue persists</span>

    Best regards,

    Keza

    Hi, @vidarparry.

Thanks for letting us know! That makes sense, and I’m glad you found the cause.

You’re right that Firefox’s PDF download behavior can affect how document links appear to work, so I appreciate you pointing it out. Sorry for the time this took to track down.

Please let us know if you have any other questions. Have a great day!

    Best regards,
    Adrian

    Hello, glov (@glov).

Thanks for the update. Well done for coming up with that workaround, by using the Code Snippets plugin to generate a shortcode that renders the 3D model viewer.

Please let me know if there’s anything else that we may assist you with.

    Hi, @glov .

    Thanks for waiting!

According to our developer, it should work find, as it’s working fine on their end, and they can see the result on the front end:

They suspect the issue may be due to the user role not having permission to add those tags, or a third-party plugin/security setting stripping them. They suggest testing by adding the script tag in a standard post or product.

Please let me know if this works for you.

    Best regards,
    Adrian

    Hi, @glov .

    Thanks for asking!

Given that your code works in the main product description but is removed in the tab editor, the tab field is likely sanitizing disallowed tags.

A few options to consider based on our guidance:

    • Add the 3D model in the product description (where you confirmed it works) and keep the tab for supporting text only.
    • If your theme or another plugin provides shortcodes that render the 3D viewer, you could place a shortcode in the tab. Our docs suggest using shortcodes to add more complex content in tabs: https://barn2.com/kb/product-tabs-page-builders/
    • If your 3D viewer can be embedded via iframe, you can try embedding the iframe HTML in the tab instead of script tags. This works in most cases.

I will consult this with our development team as well.

    I’ll keep you posted.

    Best regards,
    Adrian

    Hi, @philipbarrington.

Thanks for using Document Library Lite! I understand you’re having difficulty with the document library showing only the first 500 relevant Documents for some reason. I’m happy to look into this and help you sort it out.

The issue you’re experiencing is expected behavior, as the doc_limit option that allows you to set a maximum number of documents is available in Document Library Pro. The free version defaults to 500 documents. You can see this mentioned at:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/document-library-lite/ in the linked text: View free & pro comparison table
    Document limit

To display more than the default first 500 Documents, I suggest you consider upgrading to Document Library Pro. Our upcoming annual Black Friday sale offers a 40% discount on all purchases. You can also get in touch via our dedicated Support Center, and I’ll see what I can do to provide you with a discount link that you can use earlier.

I hope this makes sense and helps. Please let me know if you have any more questions.

    Hi @fabienpe ,

Thank you for the feedback! I’m sorry to hear you didn’t get a satisfactory experience with the plugin.

That said, we’re always glad to hear what our customers are thinking. What specific features do you feel should be free instead of paid? We can use the information to improve the plugin’s future releases. Are you using a free alternative right now that includes a feature not found in Document Library Lite?

I look forward to hearing from you. – Carl

    Hi Berams,

    Thanks for your inquiry.

Date format and date sorting are not available in Document Library Lite. You need Document Library Pro to control date formatting via shortcode.

Feel free to let me know if you have any questions. Cheers! – Keza

    Hello, Ko.

I hope you’re well. Thank you for your patience! We have released Document Library Lite 1.1.6, which officially includes the fix for the issue that you reported experiencing, wherein a JS error/issue occurs if lazy load is enabled when using an FSE or block theme.

Please could you update the plugin to this latest version on your website, and let me know whether the issue that was addressed via the hotfix version that we previously provided you remains resolved.

After updating the plugin, please also remember to clear/delete/empty all/any caching that might be active:

    • On your website (i.e. via a caching plugin),
    • Its web server (i.e. via a server-based caching service such as Cloudflare),
    • And your browser (you can also review the issue via an incognito/private browser window that’s not cached – or use a different browser as an alternative; i.e. if you usually use Chrome to browse your site, then use Edge or Opera).

Many thanks! I look forward to hearing from you.

    Hi @lambertvs,

Thank you for the additional information. I apologize for the earlier confusion. Please note that you do NOT need the paid version or custom coding to re-order the tabs. There is a native feature in the FREE version for this. It has been discussed in this forum multiple times if you look for it:

    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/placement-order-of-tabs/
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/move-the-first-tab-after-description-tab-of-the-products-2/
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/cant-reorder-in-free-version/

I hope this helps clarify things. Let me know if you have further questions. – Carl

    Hi, Ko.

Thanks for confirming the issue as resolved. I’m glad we could help! I will let you know once we have released the next official version that also includes the fix.

I appreciate your understanding regarding the integration with SearchWP being included in Document Library Pro.

If it isn’t too much trouble and if you haven’t done so yet, I’d love it if you would please add a review to https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/document-library-lite/reviews/.

Best regards and have a pleasant weekend!
