If you are using Customize and Elementor to design the page of your site, there’s no necessary to use the child theme. Child theme comes into use if you want to change the code for customizing the site. Otherwise, if you donot want to make any changes to the code there’s no necessary of the child theme.

While checking on our setup using the latest version of the Zakra theme, the menu is working fine on the homepage and other pages. It seems the issue is with the child theme used on your end. In order to debug the issue further, could you please switch to the parent Zakra theme and check if it gets replicated or not!
