It was the newest version, I had just downloaded it. I saw this message for most (but oddly not all) images in the library. The images were pretty large (anywhere from 2.5 MB to 200kb). The initially uploaded image was 2048×1400 pixel, but wordpress and another plugin (respimage) then also created scaled down versions from 1080p down to 360p. All in all there should have been 10 sizes of each image.
Oh, and I just saw your last comment. Indeed the plugin now says compressed 10 out of 10 images…
