I decided to verify my Search Console through DNS configuration and continued the Site Kit setup normally.

Tried it (using the Tools > Reset Site Kit), retried connecting again, I encounter the same thing.
I forgot to mention that the error that comes from Google Search Console is this:
Could not find your site. Please check that you provided the correct URL for your property.Hi @jamesosborne thanks for the swift response.
- I do not see anything that mention WP_ENVIRONMENT_TYPE in the wp-config.php file.
- I updated the Permalinks configuration, retried connecting with Site Kit, I still receive the same error.
- I tried to verify through the HTML tag, but it failed. I double checked my HTML tag placement via view-source, and the meta tag is already there.
I also have tried using the Site Health plugin with Troubleshoot method. Doesn’t work either.
