Got it. Thanks again!
Thanks, yes, I think the premium version is what is needed for this, then.
It begs the question, though: what is the point of datatables_sort? If it can’t be used to sort, why does it exist? What does it do?
Thanks!
BruceGeez, okay, so I’m clearly going to have to pay for support. Anyone know where I can do that? I don’t mind paying, as long as it’s better than the support I’m getting here…
C’mon SOMEONE must have tried to have at least one level of upgrade out there, right?
Or does everyone simply auto-upgrade new users to the highest level, and skip lower levels? This seems like it’s a core functionality in this plugin, but I cannot seem to create the conditions to make this workflow happen.
Anyone? Buler?
Thanks,
BruceSo how does the HTML=ON setting affect whether or not the message bodies are respected?
Still looking for some clarity around this issue…

In reply to: [Download Manager] [wpdm_tree] Tree functionality broken?I still have failures with the add-on menu item (per my last post), but at least I’ve moved past this immediate issue. I went to your website, found the extended shortcodes add-in, and installed it. Now [wpdm_tree] works great.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Download Manager] [wpdm_tree] Tree functionality broken?Hmm. Found the add-on menu item. It has never worked for me. Always throws an error. Maybe that’s why I didn’t know about the add-on. I get:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in [Bruce’s site]/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/admin/tpls/addons-list.php on line 211

In reply to: [Download Manager] [wpdm_tree] Tree functionality broken? No. Do I need that in order to use the [wpdm_tree] shortcode now?
Where would I find this add-on?
Thanks!
BruceYes, HTML is set to ON.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Botnet Attack Blocker] Will this work with Multisite and Wordfence?Oh geez, forum nazis now… Good gracious.
Forget it, I’ll just start a NEW thread about concerns about Botnet Attack Blocker not working with WordFence. That will be so very different than this one here.
Sheesh…lighten up people.
CheeseFather: thanks for your help. I’ll contact you offline about this.

In reply to: [Botnet Attack Blocker] Will this work with Multisite and Wordfence?I had a weirdness today with WordFence. A new site I launched, and as always, I installed WordFence. This time I also wanted to try out your plugin, so I installed and activated it as well. When I went to the admin page for WordFence, it threw a web server error. Whoops.
I was able to go back to wp-admin and disable your plugin, and then WordFence worked fine. I configured it completely and ran a scan and no problems.
On a whim, I tried re-activating your plugin and this time it seems okay. No issues getting to the WordFence admin page, and your plugin seems to be working. Just thought I’d tell you in case you hear of other similar events. Might have been a function of the order of activation or something. If I can help with debugging, please let me know.
Thanks!
Bruce BergmanHey Em x —
No, I’m not taking over development of this plugin. I think it serves a purpose as it is, and maybe someday work will resume on this plugin and solve some of the issues (or enhance). As I find time, I plan on taking a fork of this one and adding the features I need, and then putting it back out in the public domain. I think this is an excellent plugin, and it provides functionality that no others do. It just needs some help. 😉
thanks,

In reply to: [custom tables] [Plugin: custom tables] Adding new field failsFor anyone using WordPress Admin Notes and having this conflict, I recommend Simple Admin Notes as an alternative. I prefer the first one, but the alternative is a good second place, and it has no conflicts with this plugin.

In reply to: [custom tables] [Plugin: custom tables] Adding new field failsOkay, the culprit is WordPress Admin Notepad. All sites I run that have this activated experience this problem. Deactivating it causes your plugin to add new fields just fine. I will disable WordPress Admin Notepad on the site I’m using your plugin with because I need yours more, but I’d still like to get a fix. 🙂

In reply to: [custom tables] [Plugin: custom tables] Adding new field failsIt’s not a 3.4.2 thing. I got the same results on a clean 3.4.2 install. And it worked okay on 3.4.1, followed by an upgrade on that site to 3.4.2. So, it has to be a conflict with another plugin. I’m working through them now…
