In reply to: [FIX] Visual Editor & Media Uploader (3.3.1)Please be aware that this is not recommended and also requires that you restore a database backup that was taken from the previous version of WordPress. Also, it is unlikely to solve media upload issues.
Wasn’t an issue for me at all!

In reply to: [FIX] Visual Editor & Media Uploader (3.3.1)@esmi Thanks for your reply. If it helps 1 person it will be worth it! The fixes provided by others did nothing to resolve my issue.

In reply to: [FIX] Visual Editor & Media Uploader (3.3.1)You can try downgrading to a previous version of WordPress. Here is the download link: http://ww.wp.xz.cn/download/release-archive/ Instructions: Using your chosen FTP client replace the files included EXCEPT the folder named “wp-content” and the file named “wp-config-sample.php”.

In reply to: [FIX] Visual Editor & Media Uploader (3.3.1)We’re aware esmi. For some reason there was an .htaccess file in my wp-includes folder. When removed the issues listed in the subject were resolved.

In reply to: [FIX] Visual Editor & Media Uploader (3.3.1)I used FileZilla to navigate to my wp-includes folder. You should see the .htaccess file, if not this may not be the same issue you’re having.

In reply to: ADD MEDIA SHOW MEDIA DOES NOT WORK IN 3.31You shouldn’t have a .htaccess file in wp-includes. You should only have one in your main root directory. Make sure you do & if you have an extra .htaccess file in wp-includes delete it. Also, copy the .htaccess file from wp-includes on your desktop just to make sure, you can always simply put it back without issue.
