In reply to: Drill down search on categories/tags/custom taxonomyThanks for the reply, but the same occurs with two different themes. When I select Category=Sound Systems using the QMT widget, and hit submit, I only get the home page.
I understand the workaround, and of course it’s an option, but as every article on the site is now tagged under multiple default WP categories as well as the custom taxonomies, this would take me some time to sort out (I think).Forum: Plugins

I am now so, so close to being able to do what I want to do. The only function I cannot make work is the ‘Category’ drill down.

I want to be able to select from the widget (in the front end), for instance, ‘Category’=’Sound Systems’; ‘Region’=’North West’; ‘Environment’=’Church’; ‘Technology’=’Bose’; ‘Sector’=’Private Sector’; ‘Purpose’=’Voice and Speech’, and have it return the appropriate results. This all works perfectly with the custom taxonomies, but if I, say, just choose ‘Category’=’Sound Systems’, the submit button returns only the home page, not all articles in the ‘Sound System’ category. What am I doing wrong?
