Thanks for the help. Just to wrap things up, to assign the contact a group I had to use the code:

The other problem I had was due to the CF7 plugin, “Contact Form 7 – Success Page Redirects”. When activated, the plugin messes with CF7’s code functionality and doesn’t allow mc4wp to work at all. To get around this I deactivated it and inserted the following into the “Additional Settings” tab of the CF7 form:
on_sent_ok: “location = ‘http://www.mythankyoupageurl.com/&#8217;;”

Okay, here is a test page with 3 forms on it: http://www.lendvue.com/test/

The first form was created through MCFWP and successfully send all fields to MailChimp

The second form was created through CF7 and does not redirect after a successful entry. All fields except the Groupings field are sent to MailChimp

The third form was created through CF7 and redirects the user to another page upon successful entry (which is what I need to have happen). Nothing is transmitted to Mailchimp this way and an API call does not show up in Mailchimps API log

Yes I have the list checked on that page. I made the change with the group ID as well and still nothing. Would the version of mcfwp matter?
